This is the easiest healthy chocolate mousse recipe I have ever tried. You just need a few ingredients and a food processor and you have a delicious dessert. Another great recipe from ‘The Art of Eating Well’, the great cookbook by Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley. And here it is:

A very easy chocolate mousse recipe that only requires a few ingredients and a food processor.

Serves: about 4-6 shot glass servings
Ingredients
  • 1 frozen ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 chilled avocado
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chilled water
  • a tiny pinch of sea salt
  • 1-2 tsp amaretto or a few drops of stevia, to sweeten (Optional)
  • a sprinkle of cacao powder or cacao nibs, to decorate
Instructions
  1. Blend all the mousse ingredients together in your food processor until smooth. Add the cacao powder first and, as you blend, have all the ingredients to hand in order to adjust the ratios slightly as the size of avocados and bananas varies. The perfect ratio would be to use almost equal amounts of both. I personally prefer to add a bit less banana than avocado, as the taste of bananas is so strong and not everyone likes it.
  2. Taste and add a few drops of stevia or a bit more honey.
  3. Fill little cups or shot glasses with the mousse, sprinkle with the cacao powder or nibs and serve.

Μους Σοκολάτας με Αβοκάντο/ Χωρίς γλουτένη και λακτόζη

Αυτή είναι πιο εύκολη και υγιεινή συνταγή για μους σοκολάτα που έχω δοκιμάσει ποτέ. Θα χρειαστείτε μόλις μερικά υλικά κι ένα μούλτι και θα έχετε γρήγορα ένα απολαυστικό επιδόρπιο. Ακόμη μία υπέροχη συνταγή από το βιβλίο ‘The Art of Eating Well’ των Jasmine και Melissa Hemsley, διαθέσιμο μέσω Amazon.

Υλικά

  • 1 κατεψυγμένη μπανάνα, χωρίς τη φλούδα. Για μεγαλύτερη ευκολία, κόψτε τη μπανάνα σε μικρά κομμάτια πριν την τοποθετήσετε στην κατάψυξη.
  • 3 κ.σ. κακάο σκόνη
  • 1 ώριμο αβοκάντο, το οποίο έχετε προηγουμένως τοποθετήσει στο ψυγείο
  • 2 κ.σ. μέλι
  • 1 κ.γ. χυμός λεμόνι
  • 1 κ.γ. εκχύλισμα βανίλιας (εγώ χρησιμοποιώ ένα κλωναράκι βανίλιας)
  • 2 κ.σ. κρύο νερό
  • ελάχιστο αλάτι

Προαιρετικά

  • 1-2 κ.γ. λικέρ αμαρέτο ή λίγο στέβια
  • Κακάο σκόνη για να ρίξετε επάνω στη μους

Τοποθετήστε όλα τα υλικά στο μούλτι, ξεκινώντας από τη σκόνη κακάο. Για καλύτερο αποτέλεσμα, χρησιμοποιήστε ίση ποσότητα αβοκάντο και μπανάνας, για να μην υπερισχύσει η μια γεύση της άλλης. Εγώ προσωπικά βάζω ελάχιστα περισσότερο αβοκάντο από μπανάνα, γιατί η μπανάνα έχει έντονη γεύση που δεν αρέσει σε όλους. Δοκιμάστε τη μους πριν την τοποθετήσετε σε μικρά γυάλινα ποτήρια ή ποτήρια για σφηνάκια και προσθέστε λίγη στέβια ή περισσότερο μέλι, εάν τη θέλετε πιο γλυκιά. Καλή απόλαυση!
